Thinkwise Credit Union – Rialto

The new Thinkwise branch in Rialto, CA is the design and experience prototype for the credit union. With great visibility from the 210 freeway and a “wow” member experience, it sets a high bar for future branches.

The Challenges

Worth the Wait

Thinkwise searched for 10 years for a new branch location, and it was worth the wait. A building pad in the new 55 acre Renaissance Marketplace development proved to be the perfect blank canvas upon which to realize their vision for the ideal branch.

Stand Out and Be Noticed

Knowing that visibility can drive growth, TruEdge designed the branch to make the most of its exposure to a wide corridor of the 210 freeway. Building placement, height, exterior finishes and signage all add up to a branch that’s hard to miss.

A “Wow” Member Experience

The branch’s exterior “wow” factor is only the beginning. Inside, every detail of the member experience is designed to be easy, intuitive and completely on-brand.

In his previous job at Disney, the CEO saw firsthand the business benefit of an outstanding customer experience. He knew this could be accomplished at Thinkwise without spending lavishly.

The Solutions

A New Standard for Thinkwise

The branch’s interior and exterior design features a mix of modern and classic finish materials, and is branded throughout with the credit union’s color palette and themes. Interior details include a ceiling 15 feet above the finished floor and a 40-foot-long wall that provides a branded backdrop behind the floating teller line. From site evaluation through final walk-through, every stage of the Rialto branch design-build proceeded smoothly. The project came in under budget and very little changed from the initial key parameters. Branch elements include an entry vestibule with coin machine, four teller stations, a branch manager private office, a second open office, two open member service representative stations, waiting area, kids area, refreshment area, ATM vestibule, break room, mother’s room, work room, safe room and electrical room.

I had never used TruEdge, but was familiar with Drew’s work in the past.  I hired them to help design and build our second branch. I’m so glad we did!  The building turned out better than we had hoped. – Heri “Eddie” Garcia, Thinkwise President/CEO
